In my free time, I like to spend time outside when we had nice sunny days in Amsterdam in May. I relax the most if I am moving around, so you can often find me riding my longboard in Vondelpark. Last summer I started this sport, and I immediately fell in love with it. I have also encouraged other people to do it, and because of this three of my friends have gotten longboards. Last weekend I was pleasantly surprised by my boyfriend who gave me a new handmade longboard from Pure Boards. I was so happy! I tried it immediately the very same day. It rides wonderfully! I cannot wait to go to the park again. Furthermore, I have spent a lot of time with family and friends–with delicious food, of course. Below you can find an overview of what I’ve been up to the last month.
1. New summer products from Lancôme. 2. An impressive magnolia tree next to my house.
Finally I have seen the editor-in-chief of American Vogue, Anna Wintour. For now, only in Madame Tussauds, but I will definitely see her in real life one day.
The famous Flower Market in the center of Amsterdam.
One of my favorite places for lunch in the heart of Amsterdam, “De Laatste Kruimel.” Here you can find delicious sandwiches, scones, fresh juices, and much more! I could not resist these little pastries.
- Homemade avocado salad. 2 Quinoa salad in the “Strand Zuid” restaurant.
1. In the Vondelpark, you can buy a refreshing coconut water, smoothies, and fresh fruit in one of the food trucks. 2. Homemade salad for my girlfriends.
1. Vondelpark. 2. Back of the flower market. 3. De Wallen. 4. Sunset in de Baarsjes, Amsterdam.
