“The sea is a free piece of Earth.” This quote is from a person who would know much about the sea: Ernest Hemingway. Hemingway spent almost his entire life by the Caribbean Sea. And he is right: nothing compares to the indescribable feeling of freedom and satisfaction from the view of limitless blue waves of the sea. If I close my eyes and think about my vacation, I immediately see light blue water and sand…nothing relaxes me more than a beautiful beach, a book in my hands and good company. In addition, I love to discover new countries, cities, languages, culture, and local food. It inspires and helps me grow. This was an unforgettable summer, and I am very thankful that I have so many lovely people around me with whom I can share my happiness. Today I want to share the most beautiful moments of my vacation with you all.
The summer starts on a Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea: Ibiza.
There is also a lot to experience in the Netherlands. One of my favorite festivals this summer was the Food Truck festival! Besides Rollende Keukens, and TREK and KOOK Amsterdam.
Days on the beach. Thanks to unpredictable weather, the Netherlands has many days that kite surfers can enjoy the hard winds and water.
Bonjour! Où puis-je trouver la boulangerie? The trip to France kept me thinking about how much I would like to learn the French language. I know a few words, but I still have a long way to go before I can have a proper conversation with a local. My goal is to speak French better next year. Furthermore, I am very impressed by this beautiful country. It is multidimensional and charming. I am sure that this is not my last trip to France. Au revoir!

Dune du Pyla
The highest sand dune in Europe offers a respectable view of 117 meters and a fantastic view over the Arcachon Basin, the Atlantic Ocean, and the pinewoods in the background. It was a breathtaking view.
